The MCG Group, a collection of international businesses specializing in people-services, are on the lookout for an experienced Content Creator to join our dynamic Marketing team at our support hub in Umhlanga, Durban.


MCG Group are seeking a dynamic Content Creator to play a key role in delivering compelling content for some of our core recruitment businesses. If you have a proven track record in content creation, a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, and a flair for writing for the UK audience, we want to hear from you!


As a Content Creator at MCG, you will collaborate with the Group Marketing Director and Group Senior Content Strategist to produce high-quality content across various formats. From website copy and blog posts to LinkedIn newsletters and email marketing campaigns, you'll contribute to content plans aligned with the Marketing Director's vision.


It goes without saying that every day won't be the same but here's a few things you're likely to spend your time with us doing. You'll be:

  • Collaborating with the Marketing Director and Senior Content Strategist to create and deliver content across multiple platforms.
  • Working closely with the Senior Content Strategist and Graphic Designer to write, brief, and edit infographics, brochures, and other impactful content.
  • Ensuring timely publication of content by delivering on agreed content calendars.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to maintain consistency across all businesses.


Whilst each of our employees come from varying backgrounds and unique experiences there are a few things we’d love to see you check the boxes on:

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Experience writing for the UK audience with an in-depth understanding of the UK market.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment business, preferably in The Education, Healthcare, or Technology sectors.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to switch between long-form and short-form copywriting.
  • Strong editing/proofing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with social media marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing, fast-paced team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing email tools, and project management tools is preferable.

1st Cook prepares and cooks high-quality foods according to Celebrity Cruises corporate recipe standard. Primarily assist the Station Head and be capable for executing heavy production demand on a daily basis.
